At gg.xyz, we've been building products to help close the gap between users and onchain products, and one thing that became clear to us over the last year is that tokenization was always the endgame. It wasn't obvious how to approach this until we launched Guilds and ran a massive event with Pirate Nation with 10,000 players in one week, revealing our need for a powerful coordination tool to incentivize collective action.

This led us to develop 'Group Tokens,' reflecting our belief that the onchain world itself is a permissionless, self-evolving MMO. What is the XP system?

The gg.xyz XP system is the platform-wide reputation and reward system to help showcase and reward top users on the platform.

How to earn XP?

Currently there are two ways you can earn XP on gg.xyz:

1. By Completing Quests and Bounties with XP rewards on them

1. Referrals: Go to Dashboard → Referrals to see all the details.

Once you reach your threshold XP, you unlock your Referral Code and Invites.

• Earn 1 XP for every new member you bring in

• Score 5 XP when they hit 500 XP and 10 XP at 1000 XP

You can also view your referral list, their XP, and the bonus XP you earn through them

Every group gets it's dedicated homepage with a group chat, bounty board, leaderboard and a private feed to share alpha.

What is GP (Group Points)?

Group points are loyalty points you collect by completing quests and bounties from a specific group. It can be used by the group leader for treasury sharing, token airdrops, leaderboard competitions within the group.

How to earn GP?

By Completing Quests and Bounties with XP rewards on them

Group Leaderboard

You will be able to find your GP and Ranking within the leaderboard section in the Group HQ

The HQ on gg.xyz is your Group’s command center which tracks all activity, including Group Token, Bank, and also manages members.

Here’s how you can join the Group HQ:

Token-Gated Groups:

To join a token-gated Group, you need to hold a minimum amount of the respective Group’s Token.

Step 1: Go to gg.xyz and click Tokens in the navbar menu

Step 2: Select the Token of the Group you want to join (in this case, we are taking TGC as an example)

Step 3: Here, you will see the the minimum amount of tokens you need to hold to join TGC

Step 4: Buy the tokens

Step 5: Once you buy the minimum tokens required, you automatically join the Group HQ.

To view your Group, go to Guilds → My Guild

And say gm in the Lobby chat!

Step 1: Go to gg.xyz, log in to your account, and click on ‘Tokens’ in the navbar menu

Step 2: This will open the Token Discovery page where you will see a list of Group Tokens.

Click on the one you want to buy

Step 3: On the right hand side, you will see a section to to buy/sell your Group Token

Step 4: Add the amount details and click on ‘Place Trade’

Step 5: After you place your trade, double-check the details and Approve your transaction

Step 6: Once your transaction is approved and the tokens are bought, this popup will appear

Click on ‘All Done’

Congratulations! You have successfully bought your first Group Token! 🎉

To check your balance, simply go to the user Dashboard from the navbar menu to see all the tokens you hold along with their details.

Your dashboard is your public user profile which tracks all your activities, holdings, and achievements.

Let’s break it down further:

Here you can see your personal details:

• Display Name - (ggUser)

• Username - (@ggUser)

Once you have logged in / created a Quest ID, you are ready to complete a quest to gain some XP!

Step 1: Go to gg.xyz

Step 2: You can explore available quests in two ways:

Step 2A: Scroll down to Recent Quests section which shows the latest available quests

Step 2B: OR you can find app-specific quests through the App Library

Step 3: Choose the app of your liking (we will take Pirate Nation in this example).

Here you will see a short overview of the app/game, along with the available campaigns.

Step 4: Once you select your desired campaign, you will see the available quests, feed, rewards, and leaderboard

Step 5: Select your first quest by clicking on “Start Quest”.

Then go to the Pirate Nation game and complete your first task i.e. “Open 1 Common Gold Chest”.

Once that is done, come back to check quest completion status.

Step 6:

Your completed quests look something like this:

(You can also attempt adventure quest with multiple chapters and rewards)

Also take note that some quests are repeatable and some may require prerequisite tasks/quest completion. Carefully review the limitations and requirements of each quest before attempting

gg.xyz offers a Referral Program for you to invite your friends and earn additional XP!

Go to Dashboard → Referrals to see all the details.

Accessing your wallet management menu

To access your wallet management menu click on your profile on the top right.

How to add extra wallets to my Quest ID?

Step 1: Go to gg.xyz and make sure you already have a Quest ID minted and logged in

Step 2: A popup appears. Click on “Add more wallets”

Step 3: Select the type of wallet to connect. We’re using Phantom for the example

Step 4: Choose the wallet you want to connect. Click “next”, then “confirm”

Step 5: Sign the sign-in request

Step 6: Congrats, your wallet has been added to your Quest ID 🎉

Viewing your connected wallets and updating your main wallet

You can find your connected wallets by clicking 'Wallets Connected'.

The wallet with the ⭐️ icon is your main wallet for quests and trading and can be changed by clicking 'Edit Mode'.

The Ghost icon 👻 is your embedded Privy wallet that you can access via alternative login methods like social or email login

Adding Social/Email and Special Wallets

The icons in the bottom part of the wallet management menu allow you to link your social accounts and special wallets for Cambria, and Starknet (Argent and Cartrige).

We're currently curating communities that will be allowed to launch Group Tokens during the beta stage.

Step 1: Go to gg.xyz and click on “Feeds” in the navbar menu

Step 2: On the Feeds Page, click on Create Post

Step 3: Add the title, content, cover, tags, and other details and hit Create Post

That’s it. You just published your first Feeds Post! You can now view it in the Explore section on the Feeds page.

QuestMaker is a GUI tool we developed to allow projects to build quests & campaigns in a few clicks.

How do I Mint a Quest ID?

Step 1: Go to gg.xyz & Click on “Log in” button

Step 2: Choose your Preferred mode of sign up/ log in from the following options

Step 3 -1: If you wish you to sign up via social login, say Twitter, you will get a prompt to authorize access to your social media account. You will get a Smart Account Abstraction Wallet added to your Quest ID account after successful account creation.

Step 3-2A: If you selected continue with wallet option, then choose Metamask, you will be prompted to connect your preferred wallet address to gg.xyz

Step 3-2B: Next, in the following Metamask popup, click on “Sign-In” to verify ownership of wallet address. After successful authentication, your wallet address will be added to your Quest ID account. You will also get a Smart Account Abstraction Wallet added to your Quest ID account after successful account creation.

Step 4: Next, You will get a popup to mint your Quest ID. If you visited gg.xyz via a Referral link, then the referral code will be auto filled for you in the text block. Or you can skip this if you dont have a referral code

Step 5: Create a new unique username in the next step. If the username is already in use, please select a different one to continue. Note: We suggest using a combination of letters & numbers to avoid conflict

Step 6: In the next step, you can choose your Profile Picture. But do keep in mind that the file size should be less than 3MB If you click “Skip”, you will be assigned a “Default” profile picture

Step 7: We support JPG, PNG & even GIFs. Once the picture has been uploaded, Click “Continue”

Step 8: Last Step. Share your Quest ID on Twitter/ X & spread the word. Don't forget to share your Referral Link/ code for some sweet XP bonus

I couldn’t mint a Quest ID. What went wrong?

• Username might have already been taken. Unfortunately, you need to choose a different one. Try a combination of letters & numbers for a more unique username.

• Your Profile Picture image size might have exceeded the maximum limit of 3MB. Try uploading a compressed version or lower resolution Profile Picture

• If you are still facing issues, please open a support ticket in gg.xyz Discord

Here’s what Mods can do:

• Moderate the lobby chat: Keep the convo kawaii and on point!

• Manage guild members: They have the ability to ban members from the Group HQ

Group Leaders have the ability to bestow Moderator Privileges to upto 5 members

Group Settings for Mod:

Group Leader & Moderators can manage applications & members through Group settings

Managing Members

You can kick out members from the Group if they dont adhere to the rules/ guidelines through the Members in the Group Settings Page.

Creating Channels

Group Leaders/ Mods can create upto 8 channels by clicking on the Gear icon in the bottom left corner of the Group chat

Editing/ Deleting Channels

• You can edit the name of the channel by clicking on the Gear icon in the bottom left corner of the Group chat → Edit Tab & click on update chat to change channel name Or you can delete the channel entirely by clicking on Delete chat button

Moderating Messages

Mods can delete unsolicited messages/ spam / scam links that dont adhere to rules/ guidelines by clicking on “Three dots” → Delete button that appear when you hover over the message
