What is gg.xyz?
gg.xyz is a thesis-driven social trading platform where alpha hunters share research and earn fees when others trade on their calls. It's like Crypto Twitter with a buy button, where creators get paid based on performance.
How is gg.xyz different from copytrading?
Copytrading shows you what someone bought. gg.xyz shows you why they bought it. Every call comes with a thesis explaining the reasoning.
Is gg.xyz free to use?
Yes, creating an account and browsing is free. When you trade, there's a swap fee (split between the platform and the alpha hunter who posted the call).
What chains does gg.xyz support?
Currently: Solana, Base, Ethereum, Abstract, and Arbitrum. We're adding more chains over time.
Trading
How do I buy a token?
Two ways: Quick Buy (one-tap purchase at preset amounts) or the Swap Interface (customizable amounts and settings).
What are the fees?
1% swap fee on all trades. 50% goes to the platform, 50% goes to the alpha hunter whose post you traded through.
What is slippage?
Slippage is the difference between expected and actual price when a trade executes. Fast-moving markets can cause price changes between submission and execution. You can adjust slippage tolerance in settings.
Why did my transaction fail?
Common reasons:
Insufficient gas (SOL/ETH)
Slippage too low for volatile token
Token liquidity changed
Can I trade across chains?
Yes! gg.xyz supports cross-chain swaps. You can buy a Solana token using USDC on Base, for example.
Alpha Hunters
How do I become an alpha hunter?
Anyone can start posting to the Open Feed immediately. Create your first thesis post and start building your track record.
How do I earn fees?
When someone trades through your thesis post, you earn a percentage of the trading volume:
Open Feed: 0.25% of volume
Alpha Feed: 0.5% of volume
How do I get on the Alpha Feed?
Alpha Feed is for proven performers. Build a strong track record on the Open Feed, and you'll be considered for promotion through our Proof of Alpha process.
When can I claim rewards?
Rewards accumulate in real-time and can be claimed once you hit the minimum threshold. Go to Profile → My Rewards → Claim.

What's the difference between Alpha Feed and Open Feed?
Alpha Feed is curated posts from verified alpha hunters with proven track records.
Open Feed is where anyone can post.
What do the metrics mean?
Post Vol: Trading volume through this post
24 Vol: Token's 24-hour trading volume
Called MC: Market cap when post was made
Live MC: Current market cap
Gains: Live MC ÷ Called MC
Can I edit or delete a post?
Posts cannot be edited after publishing (this preserves track record integrity). You can add follow-up comments to clarify or update your thesis.
Safety
Is gg.xyz safe?
We implement scam link detection, spam token filtering, and contract verification. However, crypto trading is inherently risky. Always do your own research and never invest more than you can afford to lose.
Does gg.xyz hold my funds?
No. gg.xyz is uses non-custodial provided by Privy. We never hold your tokens. You can always export the private key of your wallets.
